Lisa built the West Contra Costa Transportation Advisory Committee (WCCTAC), a regional transportation planning agency with an annual budget of over $1M. She managed several large regional transportation projects, including the expansion of the Richmond Intermodal Station (which includes BART, Amtrak, bus service, and bike/pedestrian improvements) and secured over $15M in grant funding for the project. While at WCCTAC – serving El Cerrito, Hercules, San Pablo, Richmond, Pinole, and Contra Costa County – she planned and implemented 5 Transportation Summits; held over 20 local community outreach meetings for the renewal of the county transportation sales tax; and planned, coordinated, and funded the “Low Income Student Bus Pass” program in Oakland and West Contra Costa in collaboration with elected officials and members of the public.
As the Assistant City Manager for the City of Hercules, CA, Lisa planned and held over 25 meetings (with extensive public outreach) on the design of the Hercules Intermodal Transit Center. She significantly reorganized the reporting responsibilities of the City’s Senior Directors; managed the Parks and Recreation and Human Resources departments; and assisted all City departments with projects and programs, staffing, communication issues, and interpretation and implementation of City policies and procedures.
Prior to WCCTAC and the City of Hercules, Lisa was the Marketing and Community Relations Coordinator for Marina Village, a large mixed-use development in the city of Alameda, CA; and the Trade Show and Marketing Support Specialist for North Star Computers in San Leandro, CA.
Lisa is a Bay Area native; has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley; and a certificate in Land Use and Environmental Planning from the University of California, Davis Extension Program.
