Current Research

"AUTONOMOUS DRIVING IN URBAN ENVIRONMENT"
 
The research focuses on the L4 autonomous driving in the urban environment. Deep learning, reinforcement learning and other ML\AI techniques have been implemented to deal with challenging problems such as Scenario Understanding, Motion Prediction and Decision-Making. The research is a joint work with Dr. Ching-Yao Chan and Professor Masayoshi Tomizuka.

Biography

Long Xin received his B.S. degree from Department of Mathematics and Physics at Tsinghua University in July 2013. He also received his B.A. degree from National School of Development at Peking University in July 2015. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree in Department of Automotive Engineering at Tsinghua University and is also enrolled in the 2-year co-educate Ph.D. program in Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of California, Berkeley.
