Aurora Road Network
Modeler
Aurora RNM is a set of tools for
operational planning and management of travel corridors (road
networks comprised of freeways and surrounding urban
arterials) and analysis of their performance. It is based on
the Aurora Object-Oriented Framework for Simulation and
Analysis of Flow Networks and is implemented in
Java.

RNM Homepage.

Aurora development, please, join the Aurora RNM discussion
group.
CTMSIM
CTMSIM is an interactive freeway traffic
macrosimulator for MATLAB. It is based on the Asymmetric Cell
Transmission Model (ACTM) and allows user-pluggable ramp flow
and ramp queue controllers. Its output can be directly
compared with
PeMS data.
CTMSIM operates both in graphical (interactive) mode and
command line (batch) mode. Requires MATLAB 6.5 or
higher.

FwyModels
FwyModels is highly effective freeway
traffic macrosimulator. It supports CTM and ACTM traffic
models and multiple ramp flow controllers, and finds the optimal
ramp metering strategy. FwyModels operates in batch mode
and its output can be directly compared with
PeMS data.

Masterscript
Masterscript is a suite of MATLAB
routines that extract freeway geometry from
PeMS database, perform
calibration and missing data imputation, and generate health
reports for the given freeway. Requires MATLAB 7.0 or
higher.
