GRADUATE STUDENT RESEARCHER
Liting Sun received her B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2009 from University of Science and Technology of China. She also worked as a visiting researcher and junior specialist in University of California at Berkeley from 2012 to 2015. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of California, Berkeley.
My research topic focuses on human-robot interaction with applications on autonomous driving. We aim to address the challenges regarding to design more human-like robot cars using techlogies based on optimization and machine learning. The project is a joint work with Dr. Ching-Yao Chan, Wei-Bin Zhang, Professor Masayoshi Tomizuka, and with partners from MINES ParisTech, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and EPFL.
