Tom Kuhn has been a software engineer and project manager for PATH and CCIT since 2006. Since early 2013, he has focused on architecture and implementation of software that estimates and predicts traffic conditions for the Connected Corridors program. Previously, he worked on a variety of projects spanning software simulation of connected vehicle communication protocols to real-time in-vehicle data collection systems to deployment and evaluation of roadside Bluetooth sensor systems. He received his MS in Computer Science from Stanford University in 1996. Prior to joining PATH, he worked as a software integration engineer for speech recognition specialist Nuance Communications and as a research software engineer at combinatorial optimization startup CombineNet Inc.
