Semi-Supervised Reinforcement Learning for Autonomous Vehicles
Dr. Wang is a Postdoctoral Researcher at California PATH, UC Berkeley. He is mainly working on reinforcement learning-based automated driving projects under Berkeley DeepDrive (BDD) Consortium. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China in June 2018. Before he joined PATH, he also worked as a Postdoctoral Research at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) from 2018 to 2019. During 2015-2017, he worked as a Research Scholar at Vehicle Dynamic & Control Lab (VDL) at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, UC Berkeley, and during 2017-2018, he also worked as a Research Scholar at University of Michigan (UM), Ann Arbor. His research interests include Stochastic Machine Learning (such as Bayesian nonparametric learning) and their applications to autonomous vehicles such as Human Driver Behavior Modeling and Prediction, Human-Vehicle Interaction, Multi-Vehicle Interaction.
Dr. Wang’s primary research collaborator at PATH is Dr. Ching-Yao Chan, who is the Program Leader at PATH and the Associate Director of Berkeley DeepDrive.
