Current PATH Research Focus Areas

The core of the PATH program is its collection of research projects funded by the Caltrans Division of Research and Innovation (DRI). Currently, there are about 65 such projects, which are selected on the basis of an annual Request for Proposals and proposals submitted from throughout California. These involve the work of about 60 professors, representing 20 academic departments on 11 different university campuses, supervising the research of about 90 graduate students and 14 post-doctoral researchers.
