Interstate 880 Integrated Corridor Management Systems Engineering
PATH is a part of the team developing an Integrated Corridor Management System for Interstate 880, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. The lead agency, the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) is planning to deploy various ICM approaches that leverage existing and new ITS elements to encourage mode and route shifts among the traveling public, as well as improved corridor efficiency. PATH led the development of the initial Concept of Operations for the project, as well as the testing and evaluating of the proposed strategies for the I-880 corridor.
